Fashion with purpose
Beautifully Loved Fashion Show has become our models' highlight of the year. Each model is a patient from Dell Children’s Hospital, McLane Children’s, and other surrounding children's hospitals. These boys and girls are pampered by professionals with top-notch hair and makeup services, trendy fashion from Austin's finest boutiques, a glamorous runway moment, a private photo session, and a swag bag. Above all, they momentarily escape the challenges of their illness, embracing a newfound confidence boost.
Meet the models!
Families: Our Impactful Journey Together
“Being diagnosed from a young age with a blood disorder has millions of negative side effects. You know the fatigue, frequent hospital visits, and the big 'ole looming threat of death but shining through that storm was the CCBC Fashion Show orchestrated by Beautifully Loved. That was the one upside: meeting friends going through the same things as you and getting dressed up to strut your stuff. Joining this Fashion show group as a model about 3 years ago was exciting, nerve-wracking but most of all highly anticipated. When I was first told about this I was only partially interested, however, the more I understood the cause, purpose, and goals of Beautifully Loved, the more enthralled I became.
It hasn't been easy getting to the place I currently find myself in, to this day. I've seen growth and determination and I've found how to overcome all of the difficulties that accompany life. I learned how to do that with this beautiful group. These people have taught me more than any book, teacher, or lecture. There's beauty in life and hope in our worst moments.”

“The photoshoot alone is a fabulous day for my daughter. Getting her hair and makeup done and then posing for photos just makes her light up. On the day of the fashion show, she really shines. She’s normally a shy young lady, but on that day she comes out of her shell and has such a great time. Beautifully Loved is an amazing organization!”

“I support Beautifully Loved because I personally know how great those kids feel when they benefit from the programs. I was a patient at Dell Children's Hospital when it all started, and I remember the confidence and inward strength it gave me as a teen battling cancer. I made many friends going through similar things that also attended the events, I built confidence within myself despite my appearance changes due to treatments, and now that I am older and volunteer, the kids inspire me to continue doing good. I want to be able to continue giving the kids the strength and joy I received when I got help from Aysa(Beautifully Loved).”

“Beautifully Loved is sooo amazing!! My daughter did the fashion show last year and she was in heaven!!! From the professional makeup and hair to the photo shoot, fun clothes and walking the runway, she loved every minute! It really does help her feel beautiful and loved! Can’t say enough good things about this organization! I will forever be grateful for them and for how they help make my daughter feel!”

"When my teenage daughter was in the hospital last year, she felt weak and flooded with anxiety. It is tough to be sick, especially as a teen. And I ached to help her when she seemed somehow both vulnerable and strong at the same time. As soon as Beautifully Loved heard about us, they were at our door with treats that brought a smile to her face and made her feel seen and known. A year later, she still - daily - carries the satchel Beautifully Loved brought her. When you support Beautifully Loved, you support families and caregivers. When you support Beautifully Loved, you give the gift of being seen to young people feeling invisible."
